Team Podcom is taking on the newest mental health and fitness challenge this month – The Push-Up Challenge.
The challenge involves completing 2000 push-ups from 5-27 February to get fit, have fun and push for better mental health in Aotearoa New Zealand. It’s simple on paper, but it adds up quickly and takes consistency to stick with.
Why we’re doing it
Mental health affects people everywhere – at work, at home, and within our community. The Push-Up Challenge is a fun way for our staff to team up to encourage better understanding, conversation, and support around mental wellbeing. We’ve got no automation or shortcuts for this one! Some days it’s a push-ups between meetings. Other days it’s sore arms and pushing through our daily goal in one set.
Follow along
Our team – the PushPods – are tracking progress along the way to keep our reps and funds up! Donate to our team if you can – every dollar will help the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
