Like many Kiwi families, our team have friends and family who have been affected by cancer. We believe in backing our people and supporting causes that make a real difference in our communities. This year, Podcom is taking part in Scooter Safari, a nationwide charity scooter ride that raises vital funds for the Cancer Society.
Scooter Safari is an endurance ride on motorised scooters from Christchurch to Hokitika, crossing the Southern Alps. The ride covers about 250km and raises funds for Cancer Society Southern.
Riders spend a full day on small city scooters, dealing with cold conditions, long hours and whatever the road throws at them. It’s one of the coldest and most demanding scooter rides in the country. Even so, it’s small compared to what people face during a cancer journey.
Steve and Jeremy are representing Podcom this year. If you’re able to support team RAM-Raiders with a donation or by sharing our fundraising page it will genuinely make a difference. Donations go directly toward cancer support services and research through Cancer Society Southern.
